Home Staging

How It Works

Green Velvet Staging is a three step staging process:

1. Home Consultation

(suggested 2 months before listing, but at least 1 month --

if you don't have that amount of time, call us--we may still be able to help!)

We will meet with you at your home and discuss your needs, timing, and concerns for staging. We will then walk around your house and take pictures of your spaces and current decor and furniture. At this point it is important you are there, so we can ask questions. However, your house does not need to be clean, organized, or packed at this point! We know you are getting ready to move and we promise we won't judge.

2. Repair, Packing, and Staging Report

A few days after our home consultation, you will receive a report by email. This will instruct you on any suggested repairs or upgrades, tips on how to pack and what belongings (generally) to pack away, and staging suggestions. This is where you step-in. Complete any repairs and upgrades you are going to do, pack away belongings not needed in staging, and get things cleaned.

3. Staging Days

(before listing pictures are taken)

We show-up with tubs of staging decor and furniture. We will work in your home for two days. We will come in and stage your home. While we wear clean footwear, we suggest that you wait for vacuuming until after we are finished.
